Crescent Group Campground is located along the shores of Hartwell Lake in South Carolina. Spanning parts of South Carolina and Georgia, Hartwell Lake is one of the largest and most visited public recreation lakes in the Southeast. It comprises nearly 56,000 acres of water and has a shoreline of 962 miles. |

From Hartwell, Georgia, take Highway 29 east for approximately 8 miles. Turn left onto Ginn Road. Take the first left onto Campers Way and continue straight to the campground. |

Crescent offers two group camp areas, which are ideal for family gatherings and functions. Sites are lakefront with water and 50-amp electrical hookups. Each loop contains a large centrally located pavilion with lights and grills that can accommodate more than 100 people. |

Fishing is one of the most popular activities at the lake. Sought-after species include largemouth bass, bream, crappie, catfish, striped bass and hybrid bass. The lake appeals to boaters of all kinds, whether their specialty is canoeing, sailing or motor boating. Coves and areas of quiet water provide water skiers with excellent surfaces. Swimmers will find sand beaches and designated swim areas along the shoreline. |
